Dennis Kucinich at the DNC: Wake Up America!
Ohio Congressman Dennis Kucinich spoke at the Democratic National Convention today and there is little doubt his was the most enthusiastic and hard hitting speech thus far. Dennis always comes armed with truth and facts, and today was no exception.
From illegal wiretapping, Iraq and high gas prices to playing the fear card, he blazed through the laundry list of Bush hackery and crimes and pounded the message home — Americans to wake up and vote for Barack Obama.
“…Wake up America! The insurance companies took over health care. Wake up America! The pharmaceutical companies took over drug pricing. Wake up America! The speculators took over Wall Street. Wake up America, they want your Social Security. Wake up America, multi-national corporations took over our trade policies, factories are closing, good paying jobs are being lost, wake up America!”
Now that’s the spirit! We need to hear more of this during the convention. The American electorate needs a good dose of reality. If this speech doesn’t get you fired up, nothing will.

PROPAGANDA Machine
Man you can’t ever tell me that Fox News is “fair and balanced” again. THE ARE RUNNING THE BIGGEST PROPAGANDA AGENDA OUT OF ANYONE (as we all know). Watch as this puppet cuts this poor woman and her daughter off when they aren’t telling the story Fox News wants to sell. Wouldn’t it make more sense to hear it from the people that are witnessing this attack unfold?
Facts are facts – Georgia has been messing w/Russia for years (with our support). I don’t think I see much wrong w/what Russia did! Didn’t Saddam and the US essentially do the same? In fact, the only difference is the US was not provoked! We better back off of this one. However, as history repeats itself often I’m sure we won’t.

If Paul is right (again), we are in some real trouble.
Congressman Ron Paul fears that a staged incident exploited as a pretext to attack Iran may be the precursor to a national draft, as he responded to Sy Hersh’s astounding report that Dick Cheney proposed faking a Gulf of Tonkin style incident by killing Americans in the Straits of Hormuz and blaming it on Iran.
“The influence is still there that they want it to happen, they probably themselves don’t have a day set to do it but they’re waiting for an opportunity and something will come along,” Paul told the Alex Jones Show.
“They’re capable of doing anything,” said Paul, referring to the consideration unveiled in the Downing Street Memo, where Bush and Blair discussed painting a U2 spy plane in UN colors and goading Saddam to have it shot down as a pretext to invade Iraq.
Asked about Cheney’s proposal to kill Americans as part of a false flag attack to be blamed on Iran, Paul responded, “The sad part is a lot of people won’t be surprised….it’s tragic, it’s sad, all we have to do is have one our ships hit and a bunch of Americans killed and one or two news stations say it was the Iranians and the country’s going to be ready to go to war, they’d even be willing to call a draft to say we have to go to save Israel, we have to march in, so we need a draft – that’s the worst part that I fear,” said the Congressman.
Back in January 2007, Paul voiced his fears on the House floor of a “contrived Gulf of Tonkin style incident that may well occur to gain popular support for an attack on Iran.”
During an appearance on the Alex Jones Show last month, Congressman Paul said that a strike on Iran has already been green lighted, judging from what his contacts in and around Congress were telling him.
“It is still totally bewildering to me when I see men and women in the Congress that I know and like doing this just to get along. Most of them will say “I agree with you on all you say but the Iranians are bad people and they might attack us some day… I hear members of Congress saying ‘if we could only nuke them’,” said Paul.
During an event at the Campus Progress journalism conference earlier this month, journalist Sy Hersh detailed how a meeting took place in Dick Cheney’s office on the subject of “how to create a casus belli between Tehran and Washington,” part of an ongoing effort to provide an excuse to attack Iran.
“There was a dozen ideas proffered about how to trigger a war,” Hersh explains. “The one that interested me the most was why don’t we build — we in our shipyard — build four or five boats that look like Iranian PT boats. Put Navy seals on them with a lot of arms. And next time one of our boats goes to the Straits of Hormuz, start a shoot-up.”

Sign petition to impeach Bush (if you have not already)
A few more weeks have been allowed to sign this petition (if you have not already) since congress in on vacation. Please make sure you do, it’s your duty as an American – gotta fight the tyranny. Let’s at least get something in the books folks! ; )

Think About This.
Ron Paul, Cynthia McKinney, Alex Jones and Dennis Kucinich are a few that are considered loons or unpatriotic by some for questioning 9/11, not seeing IRAN as a threat, bringing forth an impeachment against Bush, asking America to self reflect on our failed foreign policy, disagreeing w/the war in Iraq, wanting to abolish the Fed (as our forefathers did), calling for the dismantlement of the BELOVED IRS, DOE, Homeland Security, Patriot Act, etc.
Yet my 4 have never been caught in a lie such as the likes of the recent John Edwards, Billy and Hilly Clinton, The Bushes, almost the entire Bush administration, Nixon, Obama, Ted Stevens, Bill O’ Riley, Spitzer, Hilter, the CIA etc.
So who are you going to believe? Someone that questions our failed Government or someone such as the aforementioned above?
A majority of times when people lie, they have something to hide. Right? I don’t think my 4 have a thing to hide – just more to expose.
Go ahead and marinate on that for minute..
